Classes are in Building 800, Room 806 on the Butler Community College campus, located at 901 S. Haverhill Rd. in El Dorado, Kansas. Just follow the map in the link below. Once you enter the west parking lot, just follow the driveway south to building 800 (last building on the left as you enter the parking area at the end of the driveway). Bring your driver’s license, insurance and proof of registration. On Saturday and Sunday, classes begin at 8:00 a.m. and end at about 5:00 p.m. A one hour lunch is scheduled at approximately 12:00 Noon. On extremely hot days, the class may start one hour early to benefit from the cool of the morning. The Advanced RiderCourse may do the classroom portion on Saturday afternoon, so the range can be done in the cooler morning hours, since the classroom must be done before the range. You will be required to bring a long sleeve shirt or jacket, full-fingered gloves, sturdy over the ankle shoes, Long pants or riding pants, DOT approved helmet and eye protection. Bring rain gear just in case the weather doesn’t cooperate with us. The Advanced RiderCourse cannot be conducted in the rain, so this class may be rescheduled if it rains.
